Today is my Mom's birthday! Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mother! This pattern was inspired by her, as she asked for doilys. And yes, I still have yet to make one. But I have a good excuse. I have been very busy working on tomorrow's pattern!

Updated April 1, 2013: This doily is gorgeous. I was afraid it wouldn't lay out straight, but a hot iron + starch did the trick. I could have blocked it, but I'm lazy. Still, it's a beaut! I think it's going to be a Christmas or birthday gift for someone special!
This looks like it would be a good first doily because it's a fairly simple pattern (even though it's STUNNING!) When you finish, I'll email you my address. LOL
