Wow.  I cannot believe I am at pattern number 300 already.  And I have 49 followers.  My how this little blog has grown!  I found this (and another) costume pattern back when I was searching for American Girl patterns.  I love how cute it is.  Be sure to click on the link to see all of Elizabeth's pictures.  I really need a daughter who likes dolls! haha

And, remember to link up on my Pumpkin Crochet Along for a chance to win the awesome prize.  I finished my little guy and plan to post the pictures later today, along with a picture from a reader!

Updated November 8, 2012:  I finished this little outfit a few weeks ago and I think it's darling. I just hope I have daughters who love American Girl Dolls someday!

Your doll can wear the outfit alone -- or with boots! I know they don't match, but I couldn't resist!

September 11: Easy as Pie Shrug

Pattern # 254:  Easy As Pie Shrug

I'm a day late, but I swear I'm not a dollar short!  I wish I could say I was reflecting on the significance of this day, but I was just really busy. I'm back tho, and I will hopefully never be late again (my fingers are crossed!)!

September 9: Retro Outfit

Pattern # 252:  Retro Outfit

Have you ever seen the movie Hairspray, you know, the remake of the musical?  Well I rewatched it (the version with Zac Efron) last week and this outfit totally reminds me of her final outfit.  You know, when she flattens her hair & has the new sleek dress?  Yeah, that outfit.  It would be kick-astronaut on your American Girl doll too!

August 28: We Gather Together

Pattern # 240:  We Gather Together

This outfit would be perfect for your doll to wear on Thanksgiving, don't you think?  It looks rather pilgrimish to me.  Maybe that's what the whole we gather together thing is all about, ya think?

August 27: Ice Skating Outfit

Pattern # 239: Ice Skating Outfit

This is the cutest little ice skating outfit for an American Girl doll.  I used to want to be an ice skater and had an ice skating outfit from the American Girl catalog (yes it matched my doll's).  Did I ever take lessons or wear the outfit on ice?  Nope.  But I did wear it around the house and pretend to be an ice skater.  Anywho, this is today's pattern. I may crochet it in purple to match my old outfit.

May 28: Fringed Scrapghan & Pillow - COMPLETED

This is another Cobbler's Cabin pattern, I would love to use up extra yarn in this way. What about you? Do you have a bunch of little scraps like this?

---------------

Updated April 12, 2013: I expected this to use up tons of scrap yarn. Sadly, it did not. I am still using it for another scrappy project. This is a cute little American Girl blanket though. My pup sure had a blast attacking it though...

May 24: American Girl Winter Tie Hat

Pattern #144: Winter Tie Hat

This is the second pattern in our American Girl series. I found this little winter cap on Ravelry and thought it was just the cutest ever. Plus, 2 of the girls who I make American Girl clothing for live in the mountains - so they will need warm doll clothes too! haha
