Father's Day Weekend

A few months ago (Father's day weekend), Matt and I trekked up North for a graduation and a wedding. My baby cousin graduated high school and my high school bff got married. It was a whirlwind weekend, but I feel like I've been in a tornado ever since. Maybe that's why it is three months later and I'm finally posting pictures!

Pattern #173: Graduation Owl

I found this pattern awhile ago, then forgot about it, then re-found it through my friend Megan over at Fowl Single File. She's just beginning to crochet and she is amazing at it. Check out her crocheted owl bib and her completed graduation owl.

Updated June 11, 2014: I created this during graduation season, but I didn't have anyone to give it to this year. So I will hold onto it until someone does have a graduation to celebrate! Because this owl sure is adorable!

June 21: Monkey

Pattern #172: Monkey

It's day 2 of grad week and you are probably totally confused as to why there is a monkey pattern up. Well, I wanted to cater to my grads during grad week, one of those being my brother. He loves monkeys. Don't know why, he just does. I'm not sure if he would want a crocheted one, but I wanted to post it anyways. I wasn't sure what else to crochet for him.

Pattern #171: Graduation Bear

Last week was dad week -- and now it's grad week! I always thought "dads and grads" was cheesy -- but this year it was very true for us. We have 2 dads between us and we had at least 2 grads (my bro and his sis). This would be a cute bear for any grad.
