Here's to starting 2014 off right and finishing things. And we shall see if I actually complete this whole Crochet Every Day challenge this year. It's possible, but a long shot!

Easter EGGstravaganza
How overused is that pun? Probably very overused. haha I have made three of those little egg cozies, and I am really excited about it! I made a little lamb yesterday, and I plan to make another for my Mom. However, my hubby could not stop laughing at me -- he said I created a black sheep! It's dark gray, thankyouverymuch! haha
The bunny was made last year and the carrot early this year. The sheep (March 29) is the newest addition. To see a closeup, click the link for March 29. These little things are addictive... because they are so fast to whip up!
Have you created anything new for this Easter?

Completed - Bracelet & Pointsettia
I finished a few projects, so now it is time to show them off! First up...
December 18: Poinsettia
That was a quick crochet on Christmas, with my new yarn! Next up, probably a birthday gift for my Sista...
September 2: Spokes Cuff Bracelet
This one was a lot of fun and not as hard as I imagined. I think it is a bit too big for me, but will be perfect for my sister. I love the buttons though! And yes, I had fun editing the photos and posing at my desk...

I also finished the Christmas Pudding ornament from November 28, but now I cannot find it.. or pictures of it! So I must search around the craft room for awhile!
Have a fantastic day! I'm busy scouring Ravelry and Etsy for some inspiration... so be sure I will be back soon!

December 27: Snowflake Garland
Pattern # 361: Snowflake Garland
Here we have another Coats & Clark snowflake pattern. I wonder where I could put this garland -- we dont' have any staircases (and I imagine it on a bannister). Hmmm

December 22: Christmas Trees (2 patterns!!) - COMPLETED
Pattern # 356: Christmas Tree
I love the style of the tree. It is very different from any others that I have found before! And it is one very very long chain. Well chain + ripple effect, wrapped around a cone. How cool. She uses two different colors to get the effect that she has. I wonder what it would look like with color changing yarn???
-----------
Updated January 10, 2014: I finished this cute little tree before Christmas this year. It turned out cute, but definitely did not photograph that well! It's one really long chain thing (two rows, I believe) that you crochet and then wrap around a Styrofoam cone!

----------------------
Okay, we have another pattern today, because it caught my eye and I can do what I want. Both trees are awesome!
Pattern #356a: Ribbon Christmas Tree
This one is from Amanda at Pardon My Chaos. How fun is it? Like the old ribbon candy!
-------------
Updated December 20, 2013: This tree also did not photograph well, but it sure looks cute in person! And my hand sure is cute. Whomp whomp.

December 20: Granny Square Tree Skirt & Round Ripple Tree Skirt - COMPLETED
Pattern # 354: Granny Square Tree Skirt and Round Ripple Tree Skirt
I believe I called this week "Christmas Around the House," or something like that. Today you get two patterns, because I could not decide which one I liked better!

Updated January 20, 2014: I finished the second pattern, the round ripple tree skirt. I really do like how it came out, and I'm excited to have a tree skirt this year! I'm going to leave the link and picture of the first pattern up above, even though I will not be crocheting them. Ain't nobody got time for that! ;)

November 26: Thanksgiving Gourds -- COMPLETED
Pattern # 330: Thanksgiving Gourds
Lion Brand has a new fall pattern out, these sweet looking gourds. They are different than the veggies in the cornucopia. They definitely seem more autumnish. haha
--------------------
December 12, 2013: I actually finished these bad boys up before Thanksgiving, but forgot to post about them. Whoops! I only crocheted two, but since I already have a cornucopia of crocheted items, I figured that was all I needed. As always, I love the Lion Brand pattern.

November 24: Thanksgiving Turkey
Pattern # 328: Thanksgiving Turkey
Thanks again to Hannah at Bittersweet Blog for this fantastic pattern. I love what she comes up with, and we have definitely not seen all of her patterns yet (there is at least one coming in December!)
Don't forget to enter the giveaways! Today is the last day to enter the first three!

Pattern # 327: Thanksgiving Wreath
This pattern is quirky. Maybe that is why I like it! I'm not sure what my husband would think of this pattern, but I think it is fun!

November 22: Tom Turkey -- COMPLETED
Pattern # 326: Tom Turkey
What does your Thanksgiving table need? A turkey! Well, either a tasty one, or a sweet crocheted one for your guests to admire!
-----------------
Updated November 15, 2012: This turkey did not take very long to finish at all. I always assume projects with arms and legs will take forever, but they do not! I actually crocheted this one together as I went (meaning I crocheted the wing, arms, feathers, etc first and then attached as I crocheted the body). This was my second time using this technique, and I was not really following any instructions -- so I was pretty jazzed when it worked out so well!

November 21: Bountiful Napkin Rings
Pattern # 325: Bountiful Napkin Rings
Thanksgiving is this week. Yay! I'm excited to eat lots of good food and enjoy time with my family. This year, we are trying something new -- a buffet. It will be way less stress than cooking a meal, and the menu looks fantastic. But I have to admit that I will miss cooking / spending time in the kitchen!! Next year, I can set the table with these napkin rings!

November 7: 8 Point Star Doily - COMPLETED
Pattern # 311: 8 Point Star Doily
This is just another sweet doily pattern. I am definitely going to keep some of these for myself!
--------------
Updated September 18, 2011: I finished this in about three days. A friend requested one in a seventeen inch size. This was just ten inches shy. haha But its seven inch diameter is perfect! I love how it turned out. If she does not want the small one, I will keep it for our house! I used size 10 ecru colored crochet thread. And now, the pictures!

October 28: Little Bat - COMPLETED
Pattern # 301: Little Bat
How cute is this little bat? I would make him with black yarn, but I still think he is just adorable. He looks very Disney to me! Now, I really need to head to the store and pick up some safety eyes!
The link up is still active for the CAL, head on over and check out what all the pumpkins look like in our little pumpkin patch!
------------------
Updated October 15, 2013: I wanted to finish this cute little guy before Halloween this year, and I did! It's just sitting on the entryway though. I should really put some fishing line through him and hang him. Right? So it looks like he's flying?

October 24: Pinwheel Candy - COMPLETED
Pattern # 297: Pinwheel Candy
It's Halloween week! I am posting candy tomorrow, which you have already seen, because I am currently backposting! haha I love how cute these little candies are!
Oh, and before I forget. I have exciting news!!! I opened up my etsy shop! I am so excited about it! I created a page for it on facebook, but now I'm confused with all the pages and linked blogs and on and on. I don't really know what is what anymore! haha You can check out my etsy here, and guess what? I made my first sale! Thanks Lora! :) I hope to list more items later this week! Check me out at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/megncreations
--------------
Updated 9/29/2011: I feel so productive today as I have posted so many completed projects [roll candy, candy corn, arches square]! Whew! Glad to knock some things off my to do list! Sorry for the less than stellar pictures. It was late and my camera is like a zillon years old. I have been having fun with picnik photo editing though. Too bad it can't take a crappy grainy pic and make it nice... at least I can use some fun text to hide it! hahaha

October 16: Acorn
Pattern # 289: Acorn
I love this little acorn pattern from Lion Brand. It is not officially part of the cornucopia series, but I think it would be a perfect addition to the set! In the very least, it would work with the pinecones :)
