September 11: Easy as Pie Shrug

Pattern # 254:  Easy As Pie Shrug

I'm a day late, but I swear I'm not a dollar short!  I wish I could say I was reflecting on the significance of this day, but I was just really busy. I'm back tho, and I will hopefully never be late again (my fingers are crossed!)!

September 10: Nightie, Robe, & Slippers

Pattern # 253:  Nightie, Robe, & Slippers

Another pattern from Bizzy Crochet.  I'm not sure I would make it in the color changing yarn, but I do like pattern.  What about you?

September 9: Retro Outfit

Pattern # 252:  Retro Outfit

Have you ever seen the movie Hairspray, you know, the remake of the musical?  Well I rewatched it (the version with Zac Efron) last week and this outfit totally reminds me of her final outfit.  You know, when she flattens her hair & has the new sleek dress?  Yeah, that outfit.  It would be kick-astronaut on your American Girl doll too!

May 30: Blue Pinafore with Ruffles - COMPLETED

I am excited to start another week of baby crochet patterns. I recently found out that a few more friends are expecting. And I know that some of you readers wanted more baby clothes. So here we go, one more week of baby crochet things!

----------------------

I made this cute pinafore in just a couple of days. I am super happy with how it turned out! I still think it is way too tiny for a baby to fit in, but we shall see!

There is a super cute purple button on the back, but I forgot to take a picture of it! Oh well. This shirt thing is adorable!

May 16: Country Car Coat - COMPLETED

Pattern #136: Country Car Coat

This Lion Brand pattern is gorgeous! I have a ton of this type of yarn in Cilantro, which looks like the pictured color. What do you think, should I make it in the same color?
Oh! And this week is all about clothing. I have started some of the patterns, but I am excited about all of them!

Check out my post on finishing up this sweater.  And here is my picture (yes, I look kinda dorky, I know):

May 4: Ribbon Poncho

Pattern #124: Ribbon Poncho

I'm not sure if my Mom would like this either, but it seems like a very Momish thing to make. Would your mom wear it? Or are you a mom and would you like it?

May 2: South Bay Shawlette (Mother's Day)

Pattern #122: South Bay Shawlette

This Lion Brand pattern kicks off our newest themed week at Crochet Every Day -- Mother's Day! I wanted to create a list of things that my mom, or maybe just a mom in general, would like. I thought this elegant and classy shawlette would be a perfect fit for my mom!

Apr 16: Light & Lively Tank - COMPLETED

Pattern #106: Light and Lively Tank

Another Lion Brand pattern, this summery top would be perfect for over a bikini. Or over another tank top. I definitely would not wear it alone - too much stomach showing. Does that mean I have officially grown up? haha

--------------------

Updated October 15, 2013: Another finished project. I started this last summer and just left it on the backburner for a  long time. I have to confess, I still haven't tried it on! It just doesn't feel right at the moment! It will definitely be a coverup though!

Pattern #104: A Whiter Shade of Pale Car Coat

That's one long name for a jacket-sweater thingie! haha If you have not yet noticed, I love Lion Brand & their patterns. Thus, most of the patterns for me are from their site. This sweater is just gorgeous, and would be perfect for the office. I need to start on this really soon!
