Mexico Weekend

Happy Monday!  I know you are excited to hear who is the winner of the giveaway, but I have other things to share first.  This is a post that would normally go on my "family blog" -- but I am slowly merging everything to this one! haha

Last weekend we were in Mexico to do repairs on the Ranch.  Our job for Saturday was to tear the top off of this old Explorer (Exploder) and turn it into a pickup.  It is not supposed to be street legal, just another vehicle to use on the Ranch.  Here are a few pictures of the day! (they got totally out of order, so deal with it!)

Our job was to remove the windows from the vehicle in one piece... we actually got all 5 out!  Woo hoo!

It took the three of us a very long time to get that window out... the kids had helped by pounding the door with a hammer for a long time before.  haha

 There were 3 or 4 kids and 3 dogs in the back of the truck at this point.  Hilarious!

You can see Matt and Quentin with the finished product above!  They used trex to line the top of the doors & bed. haha  No scratches from this truck!  We had a wonderful weekend with our "Mexico family," and other people that feel like family even though we only see them when we are at the Ranch at the same time.  We made it back in time to catch the second half of the Superbowl... only 15 minutes in secondary (because one of our passengers had an apple and pear!! haha).
