Sweet Crochet Along, Update 2

This week we show off our finished projects.  I know a few of you have started working on some sweet little candies, and I cannot wait to see them!  I actually did crochet a few more pieces yesterday (as I watched Revenge of the Bridesmaids on my iphone), but forgot to get a picture.  So, here is some sweet Candy Corn pinterest love...

I promise to get my pictures up later this week.  But I really want to make some Candy Corn Fudge (it's just Vanilla Frosting and White Chocolate chips, people!!)  Now please, tell me that I am not the only one who crocheted some candy!

Sweet Crochet Along, Update 1

Hello again!  And happy Monday.  Today we are showing off our stash (or leftovers that we want to use up) and introducing ourselves.  Here is my stash of leftover yarn...

As you all know, I am Megan and I write this here blog.  I am trying to crochet 365 projects by the end of 2014 (I posted them all in 2010).  Check out my completed projects page to see my progress.  I added a few new ones this week!

Sweet Crochet Along

Happy Monday to you all!  I am super excited about this next Crochet Along.   I really enjoy these, and I think you all do too.  Last year we did the pumpkin, which was super simple, but very cute!  This year, you all chose to do something sweet!  It is actually easier than last year's!

 The choice is any of these three Lion Brand candy patterns.  I chose those because they are in my CED challenge and such.  I actually crocheted all of these last month, so I will create new ones for this crochet along.

I could not decide which picture to use for the CAL, so I just put up both of them.  You pick which one you like best!  Here are the three patterns:

Candy Corn

Roll Candy

Pinwheel Candy

Pick one (or all three) and use up some scraps to make these fun little guys.  If you have a different candy pattern that you want to use, then go ahead by all means.  Just leave it in the comments and I will put up a link! As usual, we will split this CAL into two.  So this week you can post about what you plan to make.  Also, post a picture of your materials.  Any tiny little balls of leftover yarn?  Those are perfect for this project!  I will post links to all of your posts on Monday.  Please leave a comment here with a link to your first post!  I am probably going to do a giveaway with this CAL as well, but it is a secret!
 

Completed Blanket

I finished this blanket for my friend a couple weeks ago.  And since today is her shower, I can totally share it now!  Yay!

Kitty Halloween

I made this Halloween costume for the cat the other day. It did not take very long, but the cat hates it! hahaha Here are some iPhone pictures of Skweaks in her costume (which will probably be taken apart soon).

Happy Monday!  So we are going to do a Sweet Crochet Along.  I am super excited about it!  I want to be finished by Halloween, so that gives us at least six weeks to finish this bad boy up!

Finished Blanket

I just realized that I never posted a picture of my completed blanket. The baby has arrived and is doing very well. Here are a few pictures, and I just realized that I did not get any good pictures on my camera, just iPhone ones. Oh well maybe she will use the blanket at their newborn shoot!
