Mint Chocolate Chip Beanie

I love pattern testing!  Just had to get that out there.  It means I get a sneak peek at patterns -- and I have free access to some BEAUTIFUL patterns!  I do a lot of testing for Laurie, as you already know, but I just finished up this sweet hat for Amanda at Pardon my Chaos.  I made a couple sizes, just to see how it worked, and to use up some gorgeous yarn!  I call it my Mint Chocolate Chip beanie.  I'm not sure why, but it just looks like Mint Choc Chip ice cream to me (I think it's the greens, browns, and whites..... don't know what that means for the pink!)

These are all phone pictures, so pardon the blurriness!  I am really happy with how the hats turned out though!

  1. Aww, that looks so cute! I must make this sometime.
But tell me, how do you get to test patterns for people?

  3. Thanks! And I have tested patterns a few different ways. Some people will put a post on their blog calling for testers (as happened with this one) and I commented, asking if I could try it. One time someone asked me to try out their pattern. So just follow lots of blogs that you love, and keep your eyes open for a "testers needed" post!
