Updated September 18, 2011:  I finished this in about three days. A friend requested one in a seventeen inch size.  This was just ten inches shy. haha  But its seven inch diameter is perfect!  I love how it turned out. If she does not want the small one, I will keep it for our house!  I used size 10 ecru colored crochet thread.  And now, the pictures!

November 5: Chevron Lace Cardigan

I ran out of Halloween patterns, and decided to just post random things I want to make.  It's my blog, so I can do that! hahaha  Wanna know how I found new and cool patterns?  I simply searched crochet on Ravelry, and sorted by most likes, or most popular or something.  It was fun and I found some fantastic patterns.  This is one of them!

I don't know how, but somehow I made it to 54 followers!  Crazy!  I am so glad to share my little space of the web with each and every one of you!  I am going to do a week of giveaways from November 14 - 20.  Just a little way to say thanks for sticking with me!  Plus, I just love giving things away.  It is one of my love languages.  :)

I was not sure about this pattern at first, but I think it can be cute.  I may have to do some adjusting -- but it will work! haha

Every so often I will highlight projects that I recently finished.  That is getting hard to do -- as many are Christmas gifts!

But I can share this pic of sweet Austin and his new hat.  Check out the original post for more pics!  I'm excited to check one more thing of my list!

I also finished a sweet scrubby from BGJ.  It's not a CED pattern, since it's not free.  But it is cute!  You can purchase the pattern if you want (it's called Grandpa's Sweater Scrubby).

November 3: Kitty Cat Hat - COMPLETED

This is the perfect Halloween costume for those who do not really want to dress up! haha  This would also be a great gift for any young girls in your life.  How cute would it be with some dangly strings to tie it together?  Very cute! haha

I actually did my own pattern, for the most part, for this beanie.  However, I did use her pattern for the ears!  I wanted to do a dc instead of hdc as she recommended.  I used a K hook and Lion Brand Jiffy yarn.  This was supposed to be a "Hello Kitty" beanie for a 5 year old's birthday.  So excited with the final product!

This came up during my search for all things candy corn / Halloween and made me giggle.  At first I was like - oh heck no I will never make this.  Then I thought, you know, my cat might actually wear this.  She (well the girl at least) like small places, so she might like clothes! hahahaha

Wonder what Matt will do if I ever try to put this on her??

Updated 9/20/11:  Answer: Matt will laugh at me and ask why I tried putting this candy corn costume on the cat!  haha  Skweaks was definitely confused, and did not like the sweater. 

I am pretty sure I will take this apart, now that I have pictures.  I know that I will never put it on her again (it's a bit small and she hated it).  However, it was fun to make!  I think I will turn it into some candy corn!
