Matt and I have been working on this entryway gallery wall for quite some time. I put the finishing touches on, just in time for his graduation party! I just realize that you cannot see the whole effect because of the Instagram crop. Oh well. I shall see if I can find another. I am so happy with the final look though. We have some great family pics from many years up there. And they are all "matted." I did most of the matting with cardstock and / or posterboard. It's cheaper, and we do what we can!
The making of fire cookies...
Leftover sangria definitely needs a place in my fridge!
Done any fun decorating in your house recently? Do you think a sangria dispenser is a must in your fridge?

Work it Out
Matthew and I have been working out together. Now, I usually hate working out, so this has been a challenge for me. I stopped running (because I got sick or busy or something and then never started up again), but I know I can run for 25 minutes straight without stopping. Now we are doing little 20 minute workouts at home. My girl Bobbi has this Summer Shred thing going on, and I have been doing a lot of her workouts. We've also been eating healthier. I use the my fitness pal app for tracking calories as well as sugars and sodium. I always go over on sodium. Sigh.
How are you staying healthy this summer? What's your favorite exercise?
This is how I usually feel after a workout. |

New Hairdo
I have not really done much with my hair since I chopped it all off a year and a half ago. It's been growing pretty quickly, but not doing much else. I wanted something fun and different -- but keeping the length. So I decided to go blonde again! I used to dye my hair all the time, but I haven't done it in four years (not since we got married). I'm enjoying the lightness again!
The next day my Mom came to town (for Matt's graduation) and then we went to see the newest baby in the family. He's adorable, even if he did pull my hair!
Have you changed your hair color lately?
This is my hair stylist (and good friend)'s baby. So sweet! |

Back in the Day
I found a bunch of pictures from forever ago and thought it would be fun to post a few...
There ya have it. Old and new. If you don't like the random pics of my cats, well, sorry! haha
We thought we were gangsta... we are really just losers haha |
If you are squeamish then stop reading this caption. I used to go to the Navajo reservation every summer, and this year our "family" got us a goat to slaughter (and eat). This is the stomach lining. |
My old roommie and I, on a hike in Seattle. |
This is from a couple weeks ago. But these two were fighting and had no idea they were right on top of each other. hahahaha |
Skweaks took a nap on my belly. hahaha |

Summer
Summer is officially here! How can I tell? Because I all I want to do is barbecue! I made some skewers with peaches, peppers and shrimp wrapped in proscuitto a few weeks back -- so tasty! More randomness to follow...
What have you been up to?
Working on a crochet project for a friend. Any guesses? |
Matt has a lot of boots! |
I love Fresh & Easy sparkling water. Their wine is tasty too! |
Sushi to celebrate Matt passing his final (this was about 3 weeks ago) |
Macaron sparkling wine to celebrate as well! |
My last batch of cookies for the boys. I made them cookies (or brownies) every Friday! |

Afternoon with the Angels
After our trip to the desert, we headed out to Anaheim to catch and Angel's game with Matt's parents and his class. I may not have cheered for either team, and definitely wore my A's hat, but it was a fun game nonetheless.
And that last picture is a bottle of dessert wine (port) from my parents. It is called liquid love and comes with the promise of triplets... we shall see! haha
